The third Ted Talk from Nick Hanauer went online just last week. To be honest, I had not heard of him until last week, but his talk resonated. I mean had he really been reading the People First Tenets?

His closing remarks asked …

How do we leave neoliberalism behind and build a more sustainable, more prosperous and more equitable society? 

… and then answered …

The new economics suggests just five rules of thumb;

1] Successful economies are not jungles, they're gardens.

2] Inclusion creates economic growth.

3] The purpose of the corporation is not merely to enrich shareholders.

4] Greed is not good.

And fifth and finally, unlike the laws of physics, the laws of economics are a choice.
