so much to digest ... Mahalo John for getting my brain working w/ the help of a touch of coffee . Always want more time to fully digest ... but alas we always hope for more time , another day , more of your inspired writing & the "accessories" that come along for the Ride ... big Aloha , stay safe & continue to embrace peace & understanding !
Great post. First, because I was just reading how the Black business community has been bending LinkedIn's posts to a more authentic and expansive view of not-all-things-white corporate life. So yes, the comment about politics and business is spot on. Second, and continuing the strange interconnectedness of us all . . . In early 2000 I was running a startup with venture capital, mostly from Silicon Valley but also Switzerland. I happened to be meeting with the Vinci Capital partners based in Geneva in the run-up to the America's Cup. We had lunch at the yacht club that was home to Alinghi. A little odd given this was an ocean-going race but cool to walk through the portion of the Club set up as an Alinghi altar. I still have the polo shirt I bought there!
